Michele and her husband have been proud residents of Avon for the past nine years. In fact, this is the longest she has ever lived at the same address. Both of their children are graduates of Avon Public Schools.

Upon relocating to Avon, Michele became actively involved in the community, taking on a variety of volunteer leadership roles, including President of the Friends of Avon Music Education (FAME), team parent of the Avon Crew Team, Publicity Chair for the Friends of Avon Library, Membership Chair for Avon Newcomers, and a member of the Avon Winterfest Planning Committee. She now works in the administrative office of a West Hartford elementary school

She has served on the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) since 2021 and is now seeking a second term. Inspired by her experiences during the recent presidential elections, Michele became increasingly committed to civic engagement. Serving on the ZBA provided her with the ideal opportunity to contribute meaningfully to her community. She is dedicated to continuing her work, ensuring fairness, and making a positive impact for all residents.
