Re-Elect Dr. Erin Barthel

Erin Barthel is just finishing up her first elected term on Town Council and she loved it. She was previously appointed to complete a term held by Jason Indomenico. As a town councilwoman, she has focused on community engagement. This term, the team created new events for residents to enjoy such as Avon’ first Restaurant Week, a bakery scavenger hunt, and a winter lights celebration with Avon Shines. Erin has also tried to engage residents by sharing notes after every Town Council meeting providing quick and easy summaries to stay up to date. Erin hopes to volunteer for a second term where she will continue working on projects with the Avon 250 Committee, Avon Land Trust, CERT, and Recreation and Parks. When Erin is not at work as a Pediatric Oncologist at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, she volunteers as a Girl Scout Leader and with Connecticut Moms Demand Action for Gun Safety in America.
