Why I’m Running
As an Avon resident, I care deeply about my community and how our tax dollars are spent. As a parent, I feel strongly about maintaining our excellent schools for ALL of Avon’s children. As a local realtor, I understand what attracts people to our town and the challenges families face when they decide to move away. I believe we must elect leaders who are forward-thinking, rational, transparent, courageous, and able to adapt to changes. I lead by listening and make decisions with an open mind.
AS A TOWN COUNCIL MEMBER I WILL CONTINUE TO:
Listen to constituent concerns and ideas, and work to address issues in real time.
Ensure fiscal responsibility and transparency.
Create opportunities for a more connected community, including town-wide events and improved connectivity.
Support our fire and police departments with resources they need and appropriate planning for future expenditures.
Seek out solutions and initiatives aimed at making Avon an environmental leader in Connecticut and beyond.
Support services and tax breaks for seniors.
Prioritize projects that improve community safety.
