2.1.1 The election of Federal, State and elective municipal officers and elective members of municipal boards and commissions shall be as prescribed by the Constitution of the United States and of the State of Connecticut, by Federal Statutes and by the General Statutes of the State of Connecticut. The next meeting of the electors of the Town for the election of municipal officers shall be held on the Tuesday after the first Monday of November 1999 and biennially thereafter.

The next election is November 6, 2001.  The Avon Democratic party has nominated the candidates to the left for the positions indicated.  We would appreciate your support and vote for our candidates.
